KU Mobile: A Community App for Konkuk University Campus
KU Mobile, also known as "프리톡" (Free Talk), is a community app designed for the students of Konkuk University's Global Campus. This app has been in use since 2011, with only a change in the icon and name. Please note that this is not an official app of Konkuk University, but rather a representative community space for the students.
The app offers a range of features to enhance the campus experience. Users can access important information such as notices, academic calendars, reading room availability, and book search. Additionally, the app provides details about on-campus dining options, a community section for announcements, chat, and marketplace, as well as nearby restaurants. Users can also check the weather, manage their schedules, view bus timetables, and access dormitory information.
KU Mobile prioritizes user privacy and only requires essential permissions. These include access to storage for uploading photos when creating posts and access to phone information for device authentication purposes. Optional permissions are not required to use the app.
